Is Cell Phone Radiation Really Harmful To Our Health?

2010年04月2日 留下评论

Today I’d like to talk about the hot topic about the harm of cell phone radiation to our health. Is cell phone radiation really harmful to our health? In this regard, it seems that the debate never stopped. Environmental Working Group (EWG), the U.S. non-profit organization, tested SAR (the ratio of radiation absorbed by the soft tissue of human head) on 1000 kinds of various cell phones. The results showed that the maximum radiation is Motorola while Samsung cell phone radiation is the minimum. Among them, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 reached a value of 1.55W/kg, received radiation "championship" mobile phone in the title.

Not long ago, the latest research of British experts discovered that the possibility of phone to cause cancer is more carcinogenic than cigarettes. This has become the latest and the most serious warning to mobile phone radiation which concerns of people referring to an unprecedented height.

According to statistics, about 3 billion people worldwide use mobile phones, the number of which is 3 times that of smokers. Mobile phone users exceed 700 million in China among 1.3 billion people. That is to say that on average at least one of the two people own mobile phones.

Many medical experts believe that cell phone must receive and send radio waves in order to realize the function of communication. In the process of using mobile phones, the antenna, the strongest signal radiation part, is the nearest to the brain, so it will certainly have a negative impact to the brain. Studies have found that people, who used mobile phones for more than 10 years, may increase the risk of brain cancer and oral cancer and it is related to insomnia, Alzheimer’s disease, child behavior problems and infertility.

In the model of choice, the antenna of straight patterns is the nearest to the head, so it is with the largest radiation. Radiation of flip patterns is the smallest while slide patterns somewhere in between. There are no effects on the radiation intensity among mobile phones with various different functions. The mini cell phone radiation is relatively large.

Fortress phones are the largest "Radiation big". The quality of raw materials, structural design, launching parameters of some fortress phones are all up to standard. In order to pursue the power, radiation is overtaking the national standards, and some even exceed 50 times. I am really afraid that I just bought a set of fortress phone and worried about the too large radiation of it. So I must be careful when using it as follows:

1. Try to call at open places or places close to the window without blocking the local call.

2. Please do not put the phone near the head in the process of dial-up and connecting to another and do not make the phone contact to your ear when hearing calls and make a distance of 5cm at least.

3. Be away from the phone and use line headphones to talk, you’d better do not use a Bluetooth headset.

4. Try not to put the phone on bed at night because there is still a certain amount of radiation when the phone is on.

5. Select mobile phones with formal quality assurance and many domestic fortress phones do not pass through power debugging.

6. Do not use mobile phones to talk for long. If you do that, you should change to another ear at about 5 minutes intervals and of course you’d better use fixed telephone instead.

7. Please put the phone at least 1 meter away from you if you do not use it and let it in the outer pocket of the bag with you. If you do not have the habit to bring a bag with you and out the phone with you, you’d better put it in the pocket of your pants with the keyboard contact to your skin. Remember do not hang it on your neck or put it on the lumbar.

Taking The Pathology Report Back Yesterday

2009年11月13日 留下评论

Yesterday was the day when I would take the pathology report back. In early afternoon, I went to the hospital to the surgery office to take it back. When i found the report, I was safe in mind. It said that the pathological diagnosis was seborrheic keratosis which was benign. And later I asked the doctor if there were any problems to this result and I got the answer there was nothing at all even if this operation was not taken.

The content of the report was so simple. Besides the pathological diagnosis, there were the pathological findings which said that the check is with soft tissue, and a black uplift can be seen in the center. It is the scaly epithelial papillary hyperplasia which is mainly in basal cell hyperplasia, with inner keratosis connecting into the network and the infiltration of inflammatory cells within the dermis.

The Healthiest Daily Timetable In The World

2009年11月7日 1条评论

7:30:

Get up. Researchers at the University of Westminster found that those who get up in the morning, 5:22-7:21 am, have a high content of a material which can cause heart disease in their blood, so getting up right after 7:21 is more beneficial to health.

Open the lamp. "Once you wake up, turn on the lights. This will re-adjust the body clock and adjust sleeping and waking patterns." Pro. Jimuhuoen in Loughborough University Sleep Research Center said.

Drink a glass of water. Water is the necessary material for the body to take tens of thousands of chemical reactions. Drinking a glass of water in the morning can be added at the state of water lackage in the night.

7:30-8:00:

Brush the teeth before breakfast. Or just wait for half an hour after breakfast and then brush your teeth.

8:00-8:30:

Have a breakfast. "Because it can help you maintain a stable blood sugar levels." Kevin Weier Lun, one Nutritionist at King’s College, University of London said.

8:30-9:00:

To avoid movement. Researchers from Brunel University found that athletes who exercise in the morning are more susceptible to disease because the immune system functions weakest at this time. Walk to work. University of Massachusetts Medical School researchers found that people who walk every day suffer from cold 25% lower risk of the disease than those who do not exercise and are sedentary people.

9:30:

Start the most difficult task in a day. Researchers in New York Sleep Center, found that most people are with the most sober minds within two hours after waking up.

10:30:

Let your eyes off the screen to take a break. If you use computers at work, let the eyes rest for 3 minutes at one hour intervals during work.

11:00:

Eat fruit. This is a good way to decrease blood sugar. To eat one orange or some red fruit will also complement the body’s iron content and vitamin C content.

13:00:

Add some beans and vegetables in the bread. You need a delicious meal and slowly release energy.

14:30-15:30:

A nap for a while.  One university in Athens found that those who nap every day at noon for 30 minutes or more and have the lunch break of at least three times a week will drop 37% of the risk of death from heart disease.

16:00:

A cup of yogurt. This can stabilize blood sugar levels. To drink yogurt between meals a day is a heart-healthy habit.

17:00-19:00:

Exercise. According to the body’s biological clock, this is the best time to exercise. Ruiwonike, a doctor in kinematics of Sheffield said.

19:30:

Eat a little at dinner. It will cause blood sugar and increase the burden on the digestive system and affect sleep. Vegetables should be eaten at dinner. Eat less food rich in calories and protein. Chew food thoroughly at meal.

21:45:

Watch TV for a while. This can relax for a while to help sleep, but what should be paid attention to is that try not to lie on the bed when watching TV, which will affect the quality of sleep.

23:00:

Take a hot bath. "Appropriate reduction to body temperature will help to relax and sleep." Pro.  Jimuhuoen in Loughborough University Sleep Research Center said.

23:30:

Go to bed. If you get up 7:30 am, and go to sleep at this time can guarantee that you enjoy the 8 hours sleep.

Any attempts to change the behavior of biological clocks would develop unexplained illness. 20 or 30 years later you would regret for it, but it was too late.

Removing Stitches Yesterday

2009年11月6日 留下评论

Yesterday morning as what I had planed before, I went to the hospital to remove stitches still that was the day after one week of the operation. All the things happened as what I had thought before. Nothing unusual happened. Because of the great change of the weather, these days it goes back to autumn again with temperature of about 20 degree centigrade. It is quite good for the rehabilitation of the wound after the removing. But several days before just as what I said in my formal entry, it was in late summer and sweats was inevitable. The swab was easy to not stick to the skin. It became hollow in the swab this Monday and I took it away form my head as what the doctor said before that if it dropped you could let it be. All these things are OK. But the most unbearable thing is that I should not wash the head. Till now I have not washed it for more than one week. It is so itching that I am unbearable especially these two days. You know itch is an unpleasant sensation that evokes the desire or reflex to scratch. Last night was the worst night I was ensuring. It often occurs at night especially when I just get to bed. I was lying in bed even at the beginning two hours I continuously scratched. Fortunately I cut the nails of my hands before, or I would have scratched for long so that there might be some blood in the gaps in the nails.

Although it is unbearable even now, I should continue to adhere to the following two days. The doctor said that the part was difficult to swab and then it was exposed without any coverage. But still the most important was that in the following two days it should not be touched by water. I find the hair around that part has developed so soon only in one week. Tomorrow might be all fine and the feeling of itch on the head, the interruption to me most, might disappear soon.
